There is Something Really Big Brewing in Iowa City
There is something really big brewing among us, and it is bigger than the incidents and issues that underlie them. Consider for a moment the jail sentence of Donna Holman: it's only 30 days and soon she'll be out. The restrictions placed upon her are manageable with some creative thinking and Divine direction so that Donna and Dan can once against be productive in their advocacy of the preborn and God's Kingdom. We are admonished in the scriptures to "endure as faithful soldiers" and the common words in the Epistles that Christians will "suffer." In fact, the fruit of the Spirit includes "long suffering." I'm not trying to say that we shouldn't be vexed and outraged at the injustice being done and take consolation in the rewards we are storing up for ourselves unto the day of Christ. Not at all - these are vexing things, and are enough to make a grown man angry.
That "something" I referred to above that is "really big" is exemplified by the moving on 6 men's heart to drive 1000 or so miles from GA to Iowa City because of the heart and single-minded fortitude of a little old grandma and the injustice she faces down. I've always understood that action defeats frustration and vexation. Action that is aimed properly will defeat this injustice. How many others do these 6 men represent across the nation? What is the groundswell really like? By the time this whole thing is nothing more than a memory, Iowa City will be different and those involved in this miscarriage of "justice" will know they should have kept their hands out of the bear trap they have set.
Stay tuned, as things are just getting warmed up!

Pastor Billy Ball and 5 men from Faith Baptist Church of Primrose in Luthersville, Georgia drove to Iowa City, Iowa to preach at the Planned Parenthood that Donna Holman was arrested at. Pastor Billy preached a sermon at his church this past Sunday and was moved in his heart to drive to Iowa City and, for a time, take Donna Holman's place at the mill. The 5 men with him were likewise moved and took time off from work to join him. They drove all day Monday and arrived in Iowa City on Tuesday morning. It was a brutally cold and windy day, but these men were determined to rebuke the demonic authorities governing Iowa City, and speak up for the babies routinely murdered at these mills.
They asked a stranger if he could direct them to the abortion clinic. The man went with them and guided them to Emma Goldman instead of Planned Parenthood, this also proved providential. Tuesday was not a killing day at Planned Parenthood, but babies were being killed at Emma Goldman.
In the bitter cold the men preached to the women going into Death's Door, one woman was crying.
As they had finished preaching, and were putting their signs away the Iowa City Police arrived. One of the officers was the same red headed feminazi who arrested Donna. She said "If anyone in this clinic complains that they can hear you, you will be arrested for Disorderly Conduct."
The men took her to task. They asked how they are to reach people if they are not allowed to raise their voice. She said they are to go up to them individually and speak with them. She told Pastor Billy that her (female) pastor does not yell when she preaches. Billy asked "Does your pastor go from individual to individual preaching her message?" the dynamic of preaching means to raise your voice to reach an audience!
I could not join Pastor Billy Ball and his men in Iowa City but we had a sweet time of fellowship with them as they returned home. They had come a long way and I should not doubt that a baby was saved because of their heroic effort.
Our thanks to Pastor Billy, and the men of Faith Baptist Church; we also thank those who supported them on their journey.
The Lord bless you and your ministry.

Donna decieded to FEAR THEM NOT & to trust the government not as in God Donna trusts.
1.This is good. What we need is a network set up. If others had known about Billy Bob there may have been many more show up.
2. This may be a new tactic by the police. I had the same thing happen today at the Hillcrest abortion mill. A cop was called and after arriving said that I was not allowed to call out to any individual and if I did, they could file a harassment charge. I did let him know that people are allowed to speak to people they don't know in public, but you know how cops are "always right".
Don,
There's no other way to handle the police who do this sort of thing but to be ready with legal arguments that tie them in knots. Know the harrassment statute to which they appeal, better than they know it. Know the Disorderly Conduct statute; understand your right to reach the hearer. On the other side of that issue, make sure you're not in breach of time, place or manner. And, above all, don't be alone, even if it's your video camera (which should be your constant companion while at the mill).
