Judge Egerton of Iowa City to Granny Holman: 10 extra days!
Donna Holman is being unjustly targeted by Judge Karen Egerton, in Iowa City, IA and is not only denied 7 days "Good Behavior" time the Captain already signed off on, but Granny Holman is not even getting credit for the 4 days she's already served.
Calls to the Jail have resulted, however, in a release date being published of February 13 at 4:30 AM.
This case is one of the most egregious displays of malfeasance from the bench I have witnessed. As Judge Egerton flexes her muscle, the evidence of misconduct becomes clearer. Donna was arrested at 8:30 am November 1, 2006. She was bailed out on a $1000 bond the next morning. On November 16, 2006, pertaining to the same case, she was arrested for violation of a restraining order which she was not served. She spent another night in jail and was bailed out on $2500 bond. The charges were later dismissed.
It appears as though Donna is being punished to the maximum for something she did not do. The injustice seems to be coming solely from Judge Karen Egerton, as the Captain signed off on Donna's good time.

Totally outrageous. I pray Donna will soon be released and that Judge Karen Egerton will receive her due reward for her persecution of one of God's saints.

Arrests and violations have nothing to do with sentences -- 30 days is 30 days. Just another example of how the anti-abortion terrorists are twisting the truth to suit their purposes and spread the hate.
By telling these lies about Donna's crime and punishment and inciting mindless hate and violence, they are the ones who will be answering to the higher power of God's love, truth and judgment.
anonymous, they do if they happened in conjunction with the protesting on Donna's behalf. DO you honestly think it isn't significant the very same arresting officers were the same for Donna as those on the day of protest?

Mrs Holman was kind enough to come to court even though she knew the cops and courts were liars. Then after Donna was kind enough to attend this crap called a courtroom trial Donna was imprisoned. The hate filled liars are the cops and courts and those that defend Mrs Holman are part of the justice system which is growing larger in America.
Actually, Holman wasn't given 10 extra days. She just wasn't allowed out 10 days early. 30 days was the sentence--that cannot be and was never altered. And, she wasn't refusing to 'strip naked.' She just didn't spread her buttcheeks so the officers could make sure she didn't have any drugs or contraband on her. She can't be in the general area of the jail unless she is deemed not a threat. It had nothing to do with humiliation. I understand that you people don't actually know much about the justice system, but twisting facts is just annoying for everyone. And come on, is this really about abortion? No. This was disorderly conduct/harassment. And, the Holmans have already been identified as a little crazy if you know what I mean... I just feel bad for the real Christians who would not direct their need for media attention and martyrdom into hate towards law enforcement officers. The general public would appreciate it if you people could go back to pretending like you care about any actual issues somewhere else.
